
NHS Performing Arts Booster Club
We support the Newberg High School Performing Arts programs—Drama, Orchestra, Choir, and Band—by funding scholarships, educational materials, performance equipment, and enrichment activities.

Supporting NHS Performing Arts
In the past few years, PABC has supported many projects, including the electronic reader board sign for the Performing Arts building, clinicians for student workshops, new chairs used for classes and performances, drapery for the Black Box theater remodel, lighting and sound equipment for the auditorium, transportation for the Disney performance trip, and much more. We also provide scholarships to graduating seniors for further study.
Visiting Artist Fund
To help offset reductions in district FTE, our new Visiting Artist Fund will help PABC provide outside music specialists to support students and teachers in the NHS Performing Arts department.
Past Support
In the 2021-2022 school year, we supported:
- Fall choir retreat clinician and food
- Choreographer for Mamma Mia! and Little Women
- Accompanist for Little Women
- Snacks for Symphonic Choir & Wind Ensemble’s State competition trips
- NHS Talent Show Prizes
- Food for after show strike for four theater productions
- Grant for 1/2 registration fee for two choir students to attend All-State
- Snacks for Performing Arts Prom
- After school snacks for theater rehearsals throughout the year
- Grant for chaperone for two theater students to attend the International Thespian Festival
- Digital piano for use by band and choir
- Scholarships for seniors
Support the Arts at NHS! We rely upon donations, plaque purchases, and fundraisers to support our Newberg High School performing arts students, faculty and infrastructure. We appreciate the support of parents, students, teachers and the community in helping us make these projects happen!

Meetings PABC meetings are the second Monday of the month at 7 pm. (Sign up for our e-mails or follow us on social media for the meeting location.) Parents, teachers, and students are welcome to participate. We discuss fundraising, projects we are supporting and hear reports on current happenings from the PA programs.
